Better Local Healthcare

  • Fight to protect the millions of pounds the Conservative Government promised to improve healthcare facilities across Leicestershire, now under review by Labour.
  • Campaign for better access to vital services like GP appointments and hospital care, making sure that every resident receives the timely care they deserve.
  • Stand firm against Labour's attempts to cut essential funding, ensuring they are held accountable for maintaining and improving healthcare standards for everyone in Leicester.

Keeping our community happy and healthy is at the core of a successful Leicester. For this to happen, we need to make sure that our health services; whether it’s GP appointments, hospital care or any other additional care that patients across Leicester may need. I want to make sure that the Labour Government is held to account and improves the standard of care for local people.

Over recent years, the Conservative Government committed millions of pounds to improving hospital services in Leicester and Leicestershire. This investment was designed to deliver modern, high-quality healthcare facilities for the people of Leicestershire, ensuring access to world-class NHS care for every resident.

However, one of the Labour Government’s first actions has been to announce a review of this essential funding. This review could potentially strip away the investment we’ve worked so hard to secure, putting the future of our hospitals and healthcare services at serious risk.

That’s why I, alongside my fellow Conservative MPs in Leicestershire, am launching a campaign to safeguard this funding. We cannot allow the Labour Government to roll back progress and compromise the healthcare services that our communities deserve. The funding must be protected to ensure that our hospitals remain fit for the future, delivering the care that every single person in Leicestershire relies on.

Join us in standing up for our local healthcare services. Together, we can send a strong message that Leicestershire’s hospitals are not up for negotiation.
