The Aspire Initiative, run by the fantastic and Belgrave-born Trisha, improves access for students into careers in Medicine and Surgery through outreach talks, workshops and assisting with finding work experience.
I visited their very first workshop, with students from local schools invited to take part - learning about sutures, laparoscopic surgery and orthopaedic skills.
Trisha is a huge inspiration, and I really cannot wait to see all the fantastic things she goes onto achieve. Well done Trisha!!
