Pupils at Sacred Heart Catholic Voluntary Academy in Leicester East gave my team a warm welcome during their recent visit, which included a lively and challenging Q&A session.
Students quizzed my team on a range of issues, showcasing their curiosity, confidence and eagerness to engage with the world around them. The session provided an opportunity for young people to explore how politics and public service connect with their everyday lives.
"It was fantastic to see such bright minds asking thoughtful questions. Education is the foundation of our community’s future, and visits like this highlight just how important it is to support and nurture young people in Leicester East."-Shivani Raja
The visit forms part of the my wider focus on engaging with schools across the constituency, encouraging civic awareness and inspiring the next generation.
